VivaTech x Romain Lalire

Project background

Romain Lalire was invited to Viva Technology 2023 to present his holographic installation "Eclipse" during the four days of the Paris show. A benchmark in immersive art, the artist designed a unique installation especially for the occasion, which can be seen in front of one of the venue's largest stages.

The realization

Made up of 6 synchronized holographic helices, "Eclipse" is a monumental anamorphosis, completely visible from a single vantage point. The motif, a solar eclipse, is created by the rotation of blades inlaid with hundreds of micro-LEDs. Rotating at 900 rpm, these propellers create a perfect optical illusion.
