When Maison Ami Paris contacted Studio Artera, the challenge was clear: to create an original work of art to celebrate the opening of its new flagship store in the heart of the Marais district.
Not a decorative work, but a creation that echoes the brand's DNA, its intimate relationship with Paris, and the spirit of the neighborhood - lively, elegant, sometimes unexpected.
Ami wanted an artistic proposal capable of anchoring this place in its environment, arousing emotion and interaction, while extending his vision of accessible, sincere luxury rooted in everyday reality.
A work that speaks to strollers as much as to long-time devotees.
An invitation to look up, to take your time, to (re)discover an iconic Paris.
In response to this commission, Studio Artera imagined a bespoke creation in collaboration with illustrator Émilie Ettori, whose rigorous yet rich style naturally resonates with Ami's universe.
The result is a large illustrated map of the Marais, conceived as a territory to be explored, a living urban fresco where architecture, everyday details, furtive silhouettes and Parisian poetry mingle.
Conceived as a two-dimensional activation, the card was designed to feed Ami Paris' digital channels (social networks, newsletter, website) by creating strong, engaging and narrative visual content.
It was also imagined as a field activation tool, deployed within the flagship store on rue de Turenne and relayed to partner retailers in the district, in a logic of proximity and local anchoring.
Émilie Ettori slipped nine Alexandre Mattiussi silhouettes into the work, like a visual treasure hunt.
It's an elegant way of inviting the eye to slow down, search and be surprised, in the very spirit of the brand.
This map illustrates the singular link between Ami Paris and the Marais: a district of exchange, creation and encounters, just like the Maison itself.
