At its workshop in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, L'Eclat de Verre, France's leading picture framer, invites the public to experience a meeting of art and craftsmanship, celebrating French creativity and excellence in all its forms.
An ode to precision, know-how and creativity, artist Itchi's exhibition at Atelier Éclat de Verre celebrates the symbiosis of art and craft.
Conceived by Studio Artera, its aim is to immerse the public in a creative dialogue between vintage and contemporary art.
A leading figure in collage, artist Itchi is an alchemist of time, fusing with singular grace materials steeped in history, such as papers, magazines and love letters from the 1950s and 1960s, to weave works that form bridges between different eras. Her mastery of collage embodies a profound meditation on our cultural heritage and how we engage in dialogue with our past.
The frames, meticulously selected and crafted by L'Éclat de Verre artisans, transcend their primary function of protection to exalt the timelessness and aestheticism of the artist's works.
Through this month-long exhibition, the public can discover how art and craft merge to offer an immersive experience that transcends the barriers of time.
