I'm a consultant in the digital sector for retail brands.
What are your three favourite words?
Bold, sunny and colorful!
Can you tell us about the work you bought, and how you feel about it?
I bought "Intimité d'une féminité" by Raphaële Anfré, which was designed in collaboration with jewelry brand Mea Ayaya.
I love how colorful it is, giving the room a good energy and instantly putting you in a good mood! It's both delicate with its play on transparency and assertive with its powerful colors and gorgeous royal blue. Its warm colors make for a very pleasant atmosphere, and make me feel optimistic just looking at them.
That's why I decided to install it in my living room, so that everyone could enjoy it and share its energy.
Why did you take the step of buying art?
I immediately fell in love with Raphaële Anfré's work, which literally caught my eye. It was during a second visit to the Studio Artera showroom that things really clicked, and I hadn't planned to make this purchase at all! I wanted to support an artist who creates committed, contemporary paintings, and it also made sense for me to support Studio Artera.
This work speaks to me particularly because it was my very first art purchase.
What would you say to someone who's curious but hasn't yet taken the plunge and bought art?
I'd tell her at art events, where you can meet the artist, because in my opinion, she's the best person to talk about her work. I had the opportunity to meet Raphaële, and I wanted to support her work by creating a direct link with the artist.
What kind of pieces are in your ideal collection?
Not necessarily photography, I'd say creations produced by "our hands", paintings, drawings, collages.
If you have one, what's your favorite piece?
I'll never tire of "Les Nymphéas" at the Musée de l'Orangerie! There are always new details to discover, a new emotion when I look at it. I find it a very soothing work, which makes me feel good. The immersion in this work is total, and I also find it very poetic!
