Emilio Ferro is an Italian artist born in 1988 whose work establishes a dialogue between artificial light, architectural heritage, and collective memory. His installations are not merely decorative lighting; they are works of art in their own right, designed to bring a space to life, reveal its soul, and leave a lasting mark on it.
In 2022, Emilio Ferro became the first artist in the world to present a light installation at the foot of the Great Pyramids of Giza. *Portal of Light*, presented as part of the *Forever Is Now II* exhibition, immediately attracted international attention.
In 2024, he presented *After Pangea* at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria, the world’s largest library. That same year, he unveiled *Miracle*, a permanent light installation near the sanctuary of Vicoforte, Italy. His works have been exhibited in Italy, Switzerland, Egypt, and the United Kingdom, and featured in *Vogue*, *AD*, and *L’Officiel*.
Through monumental installations combining light, vibration and silence, he creates sensory narratives that activate the invisible. Each work becomes an immersive experience, where architecture and natural elements light up to reveal a presence, a memory or an energy.
